“The Bay is sparkling like diamonds,” my father likes to say. So it is today. The angle of the sun in the fall and winter combined with the clarity of the sky produces this effect.
It’s a welcome sight on a busy Saturday with many loose strings to wrap up before the coming week. I had to back out of the Destin Festival of Arts due to a root canal gone awry. There has been tremendous discomfort. The pain comes and goes in waves. Sleep and daily duties occupy my time in between.
My apologies. Life has a tendency to “get in the way,” doesn’t it?
Oh well, I will keep on keeping on!
That’s all any of us can do….don’t you agree?
There are canvases to sign, others to frame, a painting that needs a bit of extra work and another that I hope to finish before the next show in Atlanta.
Then there is office work and laundry, the house to clean and errands to run.
Getting things done one at a time and enjoying the view while I do.
Lucky me!
