The passing of a summer storm at sunset represents to me, the transient nature of life. People come into our lives and often move on, loved ones die, there are times in our lives where we enjoy financial abundance and at other times we have so little. We are healthy and we succumb to illness. Yet even the bad times can be a blessing should we choose to open our hearts, look within, learn and grow.
Acceptance of our lives as it is, along with forgiveness of ourselves and of others, can lead us to the present moment. It is then that our hearts are opened. Beauty and an inner peace remain.
How fortunate we are to have this access to inner peace.
“Accept whatever comes to you woven in the pattern of your destiny, for what could more aptly fit your needs?” Marcus Aurelius
